CONSULTANT AND COMPANY PROFILE

SuMa Partners, Ltd. consults in human resources, labor relations and employee communication. Its primary mission is to maximize management credibility and organizational efficiency by designing and implementing enhanced employee communication and practices.

SuMa Partners develops, manages and provides support to organizations involved in significant change including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, relocation, union organizing, growth and downsizing. We mentor less experienced personnel at companies too new or small to invest in full-time, highly experienced human resources professionals and we educate our clients so they are more able to continue our processes on their own.

We offer clients two unique assessment tools. Hiring for Attitude"SM" integrates with your current selection tools to help determine whether a candidate will be a fit in your work environment based on their attitude about the workplace and workplace processes. Reality Audits"SM" help the employer learn what really goes on, how policies and practices are communicated and actually implemented, and how employees, supervisors and managers react and are affected.

Clients direct or by subcontract, include or have included a telecommunication service provider, a multi-state heavy equipment distributor, a start-up aircraft manufacturer, a cargo airline, an international apparel manufacturer and distributor, an international death services provider, a hospital, six major public utilities and other service and manufacturing companies.

Marc D. Goldberg, J.D., CBM, SPHR, President and Consulting Principal, has over 25 years of corporate experience, including 10 years at the senior management and executive levels of General Electric, Contel Corporation, Executone, Inc. and Mobile Telecommunication Technologies (Mtel). He has over 12 years consulting experience. Corporate positions have been in large and small manufacturing, sales, service, distribution R&D and engineering organizations. Prior to forming SuMa Partners, he consulted to healthcare, education, software, consumer marketing and forest products organizations.
